Mailchimp Automation Now Free For All Users On Any Of Mailchimp Plans

One major reason why I’ve always prefer Madmimi and Mailerlite to Mailchimp when recommending email marketing provider for my clients is the fact that Mailchimp automation feature wasn’t free for users on the Mailchimp free plan. Back then, the feature was restricted only to those on the paid plans – and without “automation”, email marketing doesn’t really make sense to me.

Whether you operate an online store, head a nonprofit, or run a creative side project, automation makes it easy to send the right message to the right people at exactly the right time, giving you a competitive edge without burning a hole in your budget.

Going forward, users on any of MailChimp’s plans — Forever Free, Monthly, Pro, or Pay As You Go— can now use the Mailchimp automation feature for free. Mailchimp announced this free service earlier this month and have been running online campaigns to inform their users about it.
